I blame the children, all of them. They’re the ones who started this whole thing.
If we’ve never met, Nicole and I have twins - Michael and Elise. It was upon their birth 16 years ago that we realized we’d be taking some pictures. Thousands of terrible photos, hundreds of hours consumed, several camera bodies and lenses later, maybe a few Christmas card catastrophes… and we now have a small photography business.
Gerstography specializes in photos that capture who you are. We love a good candid as much as a perfectly posed image; we love a day out, chasing good light and capturing memories. While I’m very much the geek of the duo (the forehead behind the Canon logo) I might occasionally go rogue or get dirty laying in the weeds. Rest assured, Nicole will be directing and primping, always making sure you feel at ease and look your best.
Our work consists of Kids, Families, Sporting Events, Senior Photos, Birth Announcement, Engagements, Weddings, Parties, Pets, Race Cars… . Whatever people cherish. You can choose to have your session at a local park, an urban setting, or any location important to you. Knowing your vision (Pinterest page anyone?) will influence how and where we shoot.
But really, we only have one rule. It must be fun. I think Weird Al said it - Mandatory Fun.
